Frustrated in your search for a great way to display and protect your cars? If you are a Hot Wheels, Johnny Lightning, Matchbox, Corgi, Dinky, or other diecast toy car collector, like I am, you are probably frustrated because, even though you've sent for information and catalogs on several styles of Hot Wheels display cases, they just never seem to look good enough. Most of the Hot Wheels display cases that are made for Die cast cars are usually either too ugly, too shiny or they are something obviously not created for 1/64th scale Die cast Cars!
How I discovered the Ultimate Display Case One day, while visiting my friend Bob, I was really impressed by his vintage Hot Wheels collection and, more importantly, I was impressed by the 100-car Hot Wheels Display Case that hung on his wall. The Hot Wheels just stood out in that display and were really displayed beautifully. Bob's Hot Wheels display cabinet had individual compartments, similar to many of the other Hot Wheels display cases I had seen, but these compartments all had a creamy white background and the individual compartment walls were also a nice, bright 1/8" Birch shelving material.
Thoughtful design qualities result in superior display of your cars The result of this one thoughtful design quality was that the colors of each individual Redline Hot Wheels car really stood out and glistened brightly in normal room light! Most of the other Hot Wheels display cases I had seen usually had a darker wood varnish finish on the inside compartments, which reflects dark light onto the cars, thus dulling the look of the paint jobs and not "showcasing" the cars like Bob's display case did.
Well-Constructed with high quality materials and high quality care The Ultimate Hot Wheels Display Case is carefully hand - constructed with a solid American Oak frame in a Golden finish. The Lacquer is then hand-rubbed for a truly beautiful look and finish that is deserving of showcasing your most treasured Hot Wheels, Matchbox or Johnny Lightning 1 /64th scale die cast cars. The compartments are made of 1/8" thick solid Birch shelving and the back is painted white to ensure that your cars "glow" within each compartment.
The individual compartments fit most 1/64th scale cars as well as some of the smaller "Heavyweights" Redlines. Your Ultimate Display Case also has a clear Acrylic front that slides up. This keeps small children from being able to get to your treasured cars as well as keeping dust out. (Acrylic front not shown in order to avoid light glare)
Back to our story! At that point, I was really impressed... ... and I knew I had finally found the display case I had been looking for, so I asked Bob where he got it. Bob directed me to a local Collectible Toy Show where the builder of these cases was selling them and I went there and happily bought one.
